Hi, I am Erik Chen, the enthusiastic and dedicated President of the Myopia2050 Youth Club.
With a deep personal connection to myopia treatment, I bring both passion and first-hand experience to the role. Having navigated my own journey with myopia, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and triumphs associated with managing this condition, better preparing me to be a relatable and inspiring leader.
Eager to help, learn, and collaborate, I am committed to driving our mission forward. I am dedicated to raising awareness about myopia, improving access to treatment, and staying at the forefront of advancements in vision science.

Hi! I’m Jamie Yip, a high school student from Hong Kong. I’ve always been invested in myopia, starting when I myself was diagnosed with it at the age of 12.

Hi, I am Andrew, a class of 2027 student located in Chapel Hill, NC. I am interested in using technology to improve people’s lives. Myopia is a personal issue for me, as I was diagnosed in 4th grade and am very nearsighted. I hope to raise awareness and reduce the impact of myopia in this technology-filled world.
